In Cycocel we trust: growers rely on proven PGR on poinsettias

As the fall season approaches, poinsettia growers know their use of plant growth regulants will increase. The wise grower knows our battle-tested PGR Cycocel is still preventing plant stretch and providing quality plants even after 40-plus years in the marketplace.

Growers like the fact that Cycocel provides consistent growth control and is forgiving in the case of over-application. Early in the poinsettia crop, Cycocel can be used in a tank mix with B-Nine®. Later in the crop, Cycocel is used as a stand-alone product (usually after Sept. 25 on natural season poinsettias). The last date to use Cycocel is around Oct. 21 in the north and Nov.1 in the south. That date varies with climatic conditions. Typical Cycocel rates as a stand-alone product vary from 500 to 1500 ppm. For rates on the Cycocel/B-Nine tank mix, please refer to the label.
