Written by Senior Technical Manager Dr.  Richard Lindquist, the program is a comprehensive guide on insect and disease control, and height control.

“We wanted to develop a comprehensive, easy-to-use guide for poinsettia growers,” said OHP Vice President/General Manager Terry Higgins. “With the addition of both Aliette® and FenStop™ to our product portfolio,we now have products for all pest and disease issues that are common on poinsettias.”

The brochure features a detailed section on whitefly control, including information on controlling the Q-biotype. We also cover mite and fungus gnat larva control. 

“With Marathon® and Judo™ we feel we have the best one-two punch against whiteflies in the market,” said Higgins.  In addition,we take an in-depth look at plant disease management on poinsettias as well as plant height regulation. 

“Our goal is to continue to add products that are relevant to not only poinsettia growers but to the industry as a whole,” said Higgins. “Our goal is two new product introductions per year.”
