Welcome to the New Year of opportunities

To our many grower and distributor partners, we wish all the best in the coming year. Our horticulture industry remains a vibrant, growing business segment. We’re not experiencing double-digit growth but then, what industry is?

Let’s be realistic: growers, distributors, and manufacturers are facing challenges as we head into 2008. We all know what those challenges are. Our chemical industry is facing a myriad of issues as well. However, with our solid product portfolio and strong team,we have the infrastructure in place to continue to meet the demands of the future.

We signed a marketing partnership with Chemtura Corp. in July 2007, to market their greenhouse and nursery products on an exclusive basis. We now have almost 30 products in our line. We’re working feverishly to add products to our portfolio. Our relationships with our technology partners remain strong.

We’re introducing our OMRI-listed product line in 2008. We continue to invest in people (see page 5) and research and development. We support our industry. Our goal is not to turn a quick buck and exit. We’re here for the long term. The future is bright for OHP. We hope you feel bullish about your future as well.
