OHP & Chemtura Press Release - June 19, 2007

OHP forms partnership with Chemtura Corp.

OHP, Inc. announced today it has entered into a marketing partnership with Chemtura Corporation of Middlebury, CT.

Under the partnership effective July 2, 2007, OHP will market the Chemtura line of specialty products in the greenhouse and nursery markets.

In addition to assuming marketing and sales functions, OHP will provide customer and technical service support for the Chemtura greenhouse and nursery products.

"We are ecstatic that Chemtura has chosen OHP as its business partner," says OHP Vice-President/General Manager Terry Higgins. "The synergies and marketing opportunities between the merged product lines are unlimited.

"This agreement further demonstrates our stated goal at OHP, which is to continue to add high-quality pest control products to the horticulture industry," adds Higgins. "We will now have 28 premium brands to offer even more solutions to greenhouse and nursery growers."

Among the Chemtura brands to be offered by OHP:

  • Adept(r) insecticide
  • B-Nine(r) plant growth regulator
  • Casoron(r) herbicide (25 lbs. bags only)
  • Dimilin(r) SC insecticide
  • Dimilin(r) 25WP insecticide
  • Floramite(r) SC miticide
  • Paczol(r) plant growth regulator
  • Pedestal(tm) insecticide
  • Terraclor(r) 75W
  • Terraclor(r) 400 fungicide
  • Terraguard(r) SC fungicide
  • Terrazole(r) 35W fungicide

Under the agreement, OHP will provide marketing, distribution, and sales and support, while Chemtura will continue to manufacture and register the products.

"We will immediately assume sales, marketing and product and customer service responsibilities for the Chemtura line," notes OHP Vice-President of Marketing and Business Development Dan Stahl. "As existing inventories of Chemtura products are depleted, we will begin to manufacture under the OHP name in our packaging format with the existing Chemtura brand names."

OHP, based in Mainland, PA, is a leading marketer of premium pest control products exclusively for the horticulture market.
